Kosher Kcups

It is very important to clean and maintain your Keurig brewer on a regular basis.  This will prolong the life of your unit and supply you with the best tasting Kcup coffee day after day (or hour after hour if you are anything like me!).  How do you choose the right Kcup and brew it properly?  Are Kcups Kosher? Are Organic Kcups available? Each week we will be educating you on best practices for Keurig brewer care and Kcup brewing.

This weeks installment of Keurig 101  is…Kosher Kcups.

We are asked quite often if our Keurig Kcups are Kosher.  We are so happy to be able to say why yes,  they are.  Well,  most are. There are very few that are not and all you have to do is look for the Kosher seal form the Orthodox Union.

The Orthodox Union has maintained the highest standard of kosher certification for over 80 years. Today, the OU supervises more than 500,000 products, making it the world’s most recognized and most trusted kosher symbol. We are proud to be partnered with an OU company. Green Mountain Coffee Family of Brands which are certified OU Kosher include Barista Prima, Tully’s, Newman’s Own Organics, Donut House, revv, Green Mountain Naturals, Caribou and Green Mountain Coffee. Celestial Seasonings Iced Tea K-Cup packs are also certified kosher by the Orthodox Union. Consumers and customers may access the complete list of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Family of Brands beverages at www.oukosher.org.

As Green Mountain expands their line of products they are carefully integrating their kosher certifications to the highest standards. Presently, all of Timothy’s Coffees  products, including coffee, tea and hot chocolate, are certified kosher by KSA. Celestial Seasonings Hot Tea K-Cup packs are certified kosher through Star K and Van Houtte K-Cup packs are certified through Circle MK.

If you have any questions regarding Kosher certification please feel free to email us- info@crosscountrycafe.com or call 888-774-6939.
