If you have been around awhile you have come to know (and hopefully love) our Monday K-cup coffee recipes. I love fun, easy to make coffee drinks. They are a simple indulgence that can usually be made with ingredients already in your kitchen. There will be no running to the local coffee shop around here, no sir, we have Keurig’s in our kitchen that make these recipes easy peasy.
Up this week..Keurig Kcup Peppermint Mocha!
Happy Christmas Eve! I am looking forward to a lazy day with friends and family enjoying good food and of course we will be indulging in a delicious homemade Keurig Kcup specialty coffee drink!
We have candy canes to use and peppermint is the flavor of the season, homemade Keurig Kcup Peppermint Mocha here we come- thank you Paula Deen for this delicious recipe : )
You will need:
1 T chocolate syrup
2 T peppermint syrup or peppermint baking chips (I recommend the baking chips)
1 dark roast extra bold Keurig Kcup
Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish
1 peppermint candy cane
On the stove top combine the dark roast extra bold Keurig Kcup brewed on the lowest water setting of your Keurig brewer, chocolate syrup and the peppermint baking chips or syrup. Stir gently until it reaches your desired temperature (do not boil). Pour into your favorite Christmas mug, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings, add the candy cane and enjoy!
My plan is to actually make this in a large batch in my crock pot as I usually do so that I can share and have as many cups as I would like!
