Kcup Coffee Chocolate Sauce

If you have been around awhile you have come to know (and hopefully love) our Monday K-cup coffee recipes.  I love fun, easy to make coffee drinks. They are a simple indulgence that can usually be made with ingredients already in your kitchen.  There will be no running to the local coffee shop around here, no sir, we have Keurig’s in our kitchen that make these recipes easy peasy.

Up this week…Kcup Coffee Chocolate Sauce a.k.a. Awesome Sauce!

This is a modified version of a mocha sauce recipe I found on Holidaycoffeerecipes.com, I of course had to add my Kcup twist and make it a bit more coffee ish!

You will need:

1/4 C chocolate chips

1 t cornstarch

1/4 cup water

1/4 cup plus 1T strong brewed Keurig Kcup coffee (I used Chocolate Glazed Donut but,  I would recommend Dark Magic or French Roast).

2T butter

Melt the chocolate chips over low heat. Brew your Kcup coffee on the lowest water setting of your Keurig. Add the cornstarch to the coffee and stir until it is dissolved. Pour the mixture into the chocolate. Add the butter.  Stir until the butter is melted.

Your sauce is now ready!  This is a perfect drizzle for a homemade mocha or hot cocoa.  Awesome Sauce has a little something extra special that you will not get from a store bought chocolate sauce.  It is delicious and unique… right up my alley!
