Keurig Kcup Coffee Review- Jet Fuel

Back by popular demand- Friday Kcup reviews! Every Friday at Cross Country Cafe we host a flavor review.  Let’s face it the selection of K-cups we have to choose from is huge,  how do you pick the right one?  Who wants to buy an entire box and not like it?! Our goal is to describe how the coffee or tea tastes in simple layman’s terms so that you can determine if it suits your preferences. Let’s get to the review, up this week…Jet Fuel.

Jet Fuel Keurig Kcup coffee is an extra bold, dark roast brought to us by the experts at Coffee People.

Based on the name and description, I expected Jet Fuel to be crazy dark, super bold and burnt tasting.  It was none of those.

Yes it is dark, I could see very little of the bottom of my mug.

But, it is not tar like : ) or completely pitch black.  I could tell from the smell that it lacked any burnt taste and I was right.  This is a surprisingly smooth roast.  There is not one ounce of the typical dark roast bitterness.  As usual I added a dash of cream…

and continued to enjoy this easy to drink coffee!

Jet Fuel would be good compromise in a household where perhaps the husband loves a dark roast and the wife stays in the medium spectrum.  I think it will satisfy both parties and keep everyone happy!

Light roast and flavored drinkers need not apply, this is not the Kcup for you.

Have you tried Jet Fuel?  Would you describe it the same as I have?
