If you have been around awhile you have come to know (and hopefully love) our Monday K-cup coffee recipes. I love fun, easy to make coffee drinks. They are a simple indulgence that can usually be made with ingredients already in your kitchen. There will be no running to the local coffee shop around here, no sir, we have Keurig’s in our kitchen that make these recipes easy peasy.
Up this week…Salted Caramel Mocha!

This little beauty was unbelievably delicious, I think I have met my soul mate. If you try only one of our Keurig Kcup recipes- this is the one.
You will need:
1 cup milk
1 extra bold Kcup coffee brewed on the lowest water setting of your Keurig
1 T cocoa powder
2 T sugar
3 T salted caramel syrup
1/8 t sea salt
Start by steaming your milk. If you are lucky enough to own an actual milk steamer, that is great but, I am not one of those people. For this recipe I simply heated my milk in the microwave and used my handy-dandy frothing wand that I bought for $2.00!
A blender will work just fine too. Dont get too hung up this step, just get the milk hot and some what frothy one way or another.
Next, brew your extra bold Keurig Kcup coffee on the lowest water setting of your Keurig brewer. I chose Double Black Diamond by Green Mountain. Add the cocoa powder, sugar and caramel syrup to the coffee and stir until dissolved.
Pour the milk into the coffee. Top with chocolate syrup and a pinch of sea salt, sip and imagine that you have died and gone to heaven!
*TIP* Do not omit the pinch of sea salt, that is the key to the delciousness (is that word?) of this drink. It provides the perfect combination of salty and sweet.
