Our goal is to describe how the coffee or tea tastes in simple layman’s terms so that you can determine if it suits your preferences. Let’s get to the review, up this week…Celestial Seasonings Sweet Raspberry Iced Tea.

Sweet Raspberry Black Tea Brew Over Ice Keurig Kcups

Sweet Raspberry Black tea is a Brew Over Ice Keurig Kcup brought to us by Celestial Seasonings.

So many new Brew Over Ice Kcup varieties, such  little time…it has my head spinning.  I am madly in love with the Snapple Peach Tea and Green Mountain Lemonade but, there is always room for raspberry!

As always I brewed my Sweet Raspberry Black Tea on the lowest water setting of my Keurig.  There was already a slight hint of raspberry in the air but, I was also pleased to find that the aroma of black tea was  prevalent.  My fear with flavored teas and coffees is that the flavor takes over. So far that is not the case with this iced tea.

The appearance was perfect, not too light, not too dark.  Just perfectly in the middle. I headed to a water side dock to sit and enjoy my first sip in the sun…as it should be!

Raspberry Brew Over Ice Keurig Kcup tea

Raspberry Black tea is definitely sweet but, it is not overdone.  The overriding taste is deliciously refreshing iced black tea. It is reminiscent of unassuming Southern Sweet tea but rather than lemon it is enhanced with raspberry flavor.

At a mere 50 calories this makes a great treat on a summer afternoon.  In addition, Celestial Seasonings chose to use stevia (an all natural sugar substitute) rather than aspartame.

If you enjoy the taste of tea and prefer just a dab of sweetness in your beverages this is a perfect Kcup iced tea for you!

P.S. Out of simple curiosity I attempted to brew this Kcup hot, raspberry tea sounds pretty darn good, right?  Wrong.  It was not good…dont try it!
